Salon Configuration

In this section you can configure settings that affect how your Color Bar App functions:

Salon Settings​

  • Minimum Container Weight the minimum amount that a container must weight in order to be detected. We recommend using 5g.

  • Measurement Unit the unit of measurement for the salon. This can be in grams or ounces

  • Auto Log Out enabling this will log a user a colorist from the app after an interval of inactivity

  • Auto Log Out Interval the interval of inactivity before a user is logged out automatically. Default/recommended value is 2 minutes.

  • Container Weight Tolerance how much less a container can weigh from its original weight

  • Currency the system of money used in your country

  • Restricted Scheduling disables the ability to schedule appointments through the Vish Color Bar App. If this setting is enabled you will need to schedule appointments using the the Vish Front Desk App or by setting up an integration with your Salon Mangement Software/POS.

  • Time Zone the time zone in your specified region

  • Language the language you wish to use

  • Default Product Markup the markup you'd like your products to be assigned automatically when importing

Payment​

Here you are able to easily update your payment information. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Select Manage Payment Methods (A separate window should open. You may need to remove any pop-up blockers.)
  2. Click the pencil icon next to your current payment method
  3. Select Add payment method and fill out the information required
  4. Click Update
  5. Alternatively, you can select Add payment method under the Payment Method section, save, and then remove the old information
